HOW MANY CALORIES LOST IN ONE BODYATTACK CLASS

You can burn up to 800 calories in a typical Bodyattack class. The more you put into the class the more you can burn in any class.

Out of all Les Mills Body Training Systems programs Bodyattack ranks as the highest calorie burner.

INTRODUCING LISA OSBORNE

In 2002 Lisa Osborne became International Master trainer for Bodystep in conjunction with Mark Nuu who is the Product Manager for Bodystep and has been with Bodystep since 1993. Lisa was then appointed Product Manager of Bodyattack in 2002 and became Head Choreographer for Bodyattack.

She took over from Brett Fairwaither who was Head Choreographer from 1998 - 2002 in conjunction with Donna McCourt.

Lisa came to Les Mills from a distinct career in Aerobics where she was an International Aerobics Champion. She has also worked as a Group Fitness Manager and has worked as a presenter for Network (Australia since the early 90's.)

In 1997 she came to Les Mills and became a Master Trainer for Bodypump she could be seen in a Master Class for Bodypump with Michael J MC Sweeney.

She is now the driving force for Les Mills popular Bodyattack program.

THE ORIGINS OF BODYATTACK

In the 1980's Les Mills created a program called Jazzergetics which is the first version of Bodyattack. It was dropped off the schedule at Les Mills Word of Fitness and replaced with Bodyattack.

IS BODYATTACK FOR ME

Bodyattack is the fastest way to cardio vascular fitness. It is a 55 minute class that involves the principles of interval training incorporating plyometrics.

It is the best cardio program for anyone wanting to achieve cardio conditioning. The health and fitness aspects of Bodyattack are remarkable and thats why I attended my first attack class in 1999.

The music is motivating, be prepared to Bodyattack and get into shape real fast.

It is recommended that you can do 3 classes a week, with a 24 hr cordor of time between classes. If you do other classes then maybe two classes would be the ideal to do in any week.

WHAT TO BRING TO A BODYATTACK CLASS

Bring tons of stamina. Bring a bottle of water and also a towell. Wear loose fitting clothes, and by a good pair of cross trainers or my preference Nike make a good shoe for Bodyattack.

WHO CHOREOGRAPHED THE FIRST BODYATTACK

Donna McCort replied and said that her and Mike McSweeney choreographed the first couple of releases.
